Away From Ondoy Part II

This is the video of my 840m zipline experience sa Bukidnon. Not the full shot, yung start lang. Yung feeling matapang pero hindi. Hehe.



And so, after the 1st day adventure trip in Bukidnon, Mystery Guy decided to bring me to CDO's famous White Water River Rafting the next day. Of course, isang malupit na pagtanggi na naman ang ginawa ko. I did everything to convince him, but no, walang effect. Grabe talaga magmatigas. Wala akong nagawa. Nung sinabing mag-prepare na, nag-prepare na lang si TL. Huhu.


We went to SM muna to have a breakfast. Late na rin kasi kami naggising. Doon na kami nagpasundo going to the Rafting area. SM is just so near his place. Para cheesier ang breakfast, sa Greenwhich kami kumain. Hehe. At doon ako nag-tantrums uli, trying to convince him na wag nang tumuloy because I was so scared nga. But no, inamo-amo lang ako at yun, na-convince na nang tuluyan.


While waiting for the service, ikot ikot lang muna sa mall. Pero ang utak ko, ikot pa din nang ikot. Hehe. Kinakabahan pa din. Pang ilang beses na niya na-try ang river rafting kaya kampante siyang i-guarantee ako na safe naman yun. Yun na lang ang pinanghawakan ko. At yun na nga, pagdating doon, medyo buo na din ang loob ko. Wala nang choice. Hehe.


Pagdating sa baba, sa river, nagbigay na nang instructions ang guide. May mga kasama din kami sa grupo na di namin kakilala. While the instructions are given, lalong tumitindi ang kabog sa dibdib ko. May motion problem kasi ako. Kaya nga takot pa rin ako sumakay nang eroplano dahil konting uga lang, feeling ko end of the world na. Hehe. But since I'm there na, I had to give it a try na. It was like a now or never situation. See our photos...


Inabot din nang 4 hours yung rafting. I swear, sobrang sulit. At itong si Mystery Guy, saksakan talaga nang kasiyahan sa buhay, Advance na agad ang pina-experience sa akin. Hindi Beginners. Oh well, sobrang enjoy naman. I never thought it would be that fun. Although I can still recall the feeling doon sa unang uga, nasanay ka na lang after so many bumps.


Ang effect, natanggal ata yung motion sickness ko. Dahil nung pauwi nang Manila, hindi na ako kinabahan sa mga pag-uga nang eroplano, the fact na may aftermath pa si bagyong Ondoy. Ang mga adventures ni Mystery Guy, nagdulot nang magandang bagay sa akin. Laking pasalamat ko sa mga experience na binigay niya.


After nang rafting, we went home to change our clothes and had dinner in the city again. This time, he brought me to Mooon Restaurant. It was a cozy place na may pagka-ariba ariba ang theme. Hehe. Mexican atmosphere. At parang ang sosyal nang mga tao. I noticed na madami nga talagang magaganda sa CDO. Observation ko lang.


After dinner, naglakad lakad lang kami in the area para magpatunaw nang kinain. It was an opportunity to see the city at night. Never did I experience it on my first trip to CDO with Jay. And so, Mystery Guy gave that taste to me. The night was alive. There were a lot of people in the bars and restaurants. Families. Friends. All just enjoying the night. The atmosphere was so cozy. Loved it!


After walking around the area, we saw a Bingo Casino place at the top of Kyla's Bistro. Napag-tripan naming i-try. Wala lang. Pagpasok sa loob, wala kaming kaalam alam kung paano maglaro. Buti na lang may nagmagandang loob na staff na turuan kami. And guess what, after a few shots in the game, I won P500.00. Hehe. Not bad. Trip trip lang, nagka-pera pa. Swerte ata si Mystery Guy. Hehe.


He then decided to go to a Hotel where he usually hangs out. He likes to listen to the jazz band that plays cool music. Doon kami tumambay. Sinabayan nang blueberry and strawberry cheesecake ang vibes nang music para perfect ang set-up. Hehe. Until we discussed something very important matter that we thought, we already need to discuss.


After a crazy night, ayoko nang ikuwento. Nahihiya ako. (wag kang tatawa Mystery Guy) Hehe. But anyways, basta, that night na nga, TL and Mystery Guy finally made it official. We met July 26, 2009. After a series of getting to know each other, on the night of September 26, 2009, exactly after 3 months, kami na. And that's the beginning of a new chapter...
