The Awakening

Yesterday, I felt obliged to explain myself to a friend after being bugged by my conscience. And as I did, I felt my humanity evaded me. During the conversation, I felt that I have been slowly transformed into someone. Something. Immaterial. Insensitive. I need not be reminded of that - I already feel that way.

And for a while, I believed that my friend stared at me like I am a bad guy. For a while, I saw myself as the person she thought I was. But after the conversation, after the sermon, after making me feel so bad because she thinks I have to know it, I have to realize it, and I have to change it, I slowly walked away and realized that she wasn't looking at me. She was looking at a guy who is starting to evolve in me.

The bad feeling I felt disappeared and was replaced by respect. For there was a person putting up her defenses to defend a man she knows to be good. I am convinced though, that if she gave me a chance, she will understand why I have done it. Because God knows, I do know, that I am not a bad person...

And that comforts me after everything...

And to you, yes, to you who can feel something in your heart that it is you who I am referring to while reading this, the right time will come for you to understand the why behind the what. I am a man of strong will but when it comes to this, I am the weakest person. Sorry...

Thanks my friend for the awakening...

WORK: Independent Thinker

As an Independent Thinker, you are one of the introverted personality types. That is one of the reasons you prefer to work alone. This does not mean that you cannot be successful in a team, as well. For you, the task is most important and people who are involved come second.

The contact with others, the necessity to adjust yourself to their daily changing sensitivities - all of it is just more gratuitous emotion that keep you from totally devoting yourself to those things that truly interest you: analyzing systems and policies, researching potentials for change, developing new ideas and implementing them in reality.

Here, you differ from the second introverted Thinker type, the Analytical Thinker: You truly enjoy implementing your concepts and you enjoy the results. Therefore you should look for a work environment where you can accompany and expedite your ideas through to their conclusion.

You consider difficult situations as challenges that really try your creativity and you frequently surprise people around you with genuinely incredibly bright ideas, rendering others speechless with their excellence. Your world consists of statistics, legitimacy, and systematics.

Considering all of this, your Thinker type is very praxis-oriented, and by no means lives on an intellectual ivory tower. You are not interested in theories not related to reality. As in chess, you are excellent at predicting the consequences of your methods in advance, and then choosing the appropriate alternative.

Once you have made your decision on how to deal with a situation, you are totally willing to use your elbows and you don’t necessarily show any consideration for others. With that, you occasionally encounter resistance from other, less task-oriented colleagues that you quickly brush aside.

SO TRUE!!!

Labors Day

It was my leave at work last night but I had to go to the office for some important meetings. Darn! So it wasn't like I'm on leave for real. Had to do some stuff. Hay! But anyways, okay lang. Got there before 2:00am and left the office at 6:00am. I went to the gym to work-out but unfortunately, it was still close and will be open at 8:00am due to the holiday. Darn! So I left and decided to go home instead of waiting till it opens.

I dropped by muna at Starbucks in Shell SLEX for some new Dark Blue Berry frap something and a slice of Oreo Cheesecake. Just some cravings for a breakfast. Yumyum! Then went home to clean up Khenzo, who is so dirty na at nag-uulan nang ilang araw kasi, and bathe Thokie which is like a heavy work-out already. Hehe. Such a hyper dog.

Hehe. Happy Labors Day everyone!!! Holiday nga pala ngayon. Instead of Labors Day for me, naging Labor Day tuloy. Kapagod. But fulfilling!!!

My Advance Birthday Gifts

I finally purchased it!!! I have been saving a few bucks and been thinking for the longest time in buying this. Last Wednesday, I have decided to purchase a 32 inches Samsung Series 3 flat screen TV, accompanied by mamiko. The super astig flat screen tv I want to have in my room. Before, I just look at it at the store, but now, it's within my reach. I am so happy.

Para akong nagka-baby. Sabik umuwi, sabik gamitin, sabik manood, sabik sabik. I swear, ganun yung feeling. Hehe. Fulfilling lalo na that it came from your own pocket. Hay! Saya! I also purchased a new Sharp DVD player and that low straight TV rack. Now that's what I call splurging!!! Hehe.

Now I am energized to get the next plan after the TV. And that is to renovate my room in to a more bachelor style room. I am finalizing the plan and will have it started soon so it will be finished before my birthday party. I am excited about it as well. And I am hoping that the concept I am formulating will turn out to be good.

Another advance birthday present that I got is my Visa from Canada. The one that I am just waiting for. And I got it without even going through an interview sa Embassy. Woohoo! Tita is so lupet talaga sa agency. Hehe. Now, I am forced to use it or else, masisira pangalan ko sa foreign embassies. Darn! Maybe in October siguro. I have to save money for the plane tickets this time.

Now, these things are fulfilling as some of the goals I have set are being met. So nice. More to come!!!

Richmond Guy Strikes Back!!!

I was finishing a report when Richmond Guy suddenly sent me an instant message today at work through MS Communicator. "Hey Buddy! How are you? I finally saw you online!!! I miss you...". There goes his line again. The one that always get my attention. We then exchanged messages. Chat took around 20 minutes before my boss approached me and asked something.

Twas just an update thing between the two of us. He talked about 2 major things in our discussion. One was how he was pissed off when he found a screw in his tire, which had him go somewhere to have it fixed, and the other one is his repaint of his house to a lighter green this time. He was up for the conversation but I wasn't that time. I was pre-occupied and trying to finish one report.

But there's one thing I told him that made me laugh out loud and knocked his head off during the conversation. It was when I said, "Do you want me to do stripdance in front the camera when I get home?". Of course, I was just joking, but he answered, "Can you do that?". Haha. I got him there. Funnee. But I will not do that. Ano siya, sinusuwerte? Haha. Feeling?!

Spiderman Mug

One of my agents who resigned last month because he is going to Canada for good, and just left recently, gave me a Spiderman Mug. It was super duper coot!!! He gave it to mommy Lissa nung nagkita sila the day before his flight. Siyempre, si TL na naging super fanatic nang Spiderman before (and now claims that I'm no longer), binuksan agad at ginamit na. Hehe.

Coot coot kasi. Bigla ko tuloy namiss si John. Oh by the way, si John yung agent ko na tinutukoy ko. Hehe. Haha. We miss you John! Hehe.

Oh by the way John, just in case nga na nagbabasa ka, for your reference, Size 10 ang paa ko ha. You can just send the shoes to my home address. Haha. Feeling!

TL's Personality Type

INDEPENDENT THINKER

They are analytical and witty persons. They are normally self-confident and do not let themselves get worked up by conflicts and criticism. They are very much aware of their own strengths and have no doubts about their abilities. People of this personality type are often very successful in their career as they have both competence and purposefulness.

Independent Thinkers are excellent strategists; logic, systematics and theoretical considerations are their world. They are eager for knowledge and always endeavour to expand and perfect their knowledge in any area which is interesting for them. Abstract thinking comes naturally to them; scientists and computer specialists are often of this type.

Independent Thinkers are specialists in their area. The development of their ideas and visions is important to them; they love being as flexible as possible and, ideally, of being able to work alone because they often find it a strain having to make their complex trains of thought understandable to other people.

Independent Thinkers cannot stand routine. Once they consider an idea to be good it is difficult to make them give it up; they pursue the implementation of that idea obstinately and persistently, also in the face of external opposition.

Independent Thinkers are not the type who easily comes out of his shell. Speaking about their emotional life is also not one of their strong points. Anyway, social relationships are not particularly important to them; they are happy with just a few, close friends who find it easy to share their intellectual world. They find it difficult to establish new ties.

In love, they need a lot of space and independence but this does not mean that their partner is not important to them. Independent Thinkers often make a cool and reserved impression on others; but this impression is deceptive: they can hardly bear it if people close to them should reject them. They prefer a harmonious, balanced relationship with a partner who shares their interests and with whom they can realize their visions.

All of these are so true. No single statement is a lie. It all defines my personality. If you want to take this personality test and see your own, just click this link and you can start taking it: iPersonic Personality Test. Btw, thanks Ismor for sharing this site. It's because of you my personality is more defined now. Hehe.

I'll share more details about my personality when it comes to work and love in my next entries. They are so accurate. Hehe. Very interesting actually. For now, here is just a glimpse of TL's personality in general. So mark it, TL is an Independent Thinker. Hehe.

Here comes the SUNSHINE

When someone leaves, someone will come..
That is definitely true...
The rain has left...
Now the SUNSHINE has come...
Bringing new light in to my life...

Dollar Shopping

I think the last time I went to Duty Free was when I was still a kid. Every time dad goes home, and they go there, hindi ako sumasama. Bakit? Wala lang. Ayoko lang. Nag-iinarte mode. Hehe.

Pagdating dun, nag-lunch muna kami. Hehe. I wasn't expecting Duty Free to be like that. I had these images in my memory of a different one. I thought it's super duper classy but it wasn't. Tama lang. After kumain, umakyat na kami para magsimulang mag-ikot.

We spent a little time from different sections. Chocolates. Wines. Chocolates. Cookies. Chocolates. Perfume. Chocolates. Bags. Chocolates. Shoes. Chocolates. Watches. Chocolates. Napansin niyo, puro chocolates. Hehe. Nakakalula ang mga chocolates. Kaya naging dakila akong taga-hindi. Gusto nila nang chocolates, ako umaayaw. Pampataba kasi. Malaking temptation. Kaya ayun, konti lang ang nabili. Hehe.

I got some Baileys, Perry Ellis bag, Perry Ellis perfume and Macadamia nuts. May lason daw. Hmpf! The rest nang binili, sa kanila na. Di ko trip yung ibang stuff. I was about to buy some cool watches din sana kaso nagdalawang isip ako. Sabi nga, when in doubt, don't!!!. Hehe. Nakakapagod mag-ikot. Iisa lang ang daan. Hassle. Pag kailangan mong bumalik, kailangan mong umatras. Kakapagod.

Haha. The power of convincing. Hehe. Muntikan na talaga akong umuwing luhaan. And look at my M&M sofa chair, so coot! You get it for free when you buy 2 bags of M&M chocolates. May iPod speakers pa siya. So nice! So that's all...

Camwhoring at Manor Southwoods

Last saturday was spent cam-whoring at the Manors in Southwoods with Drey and Hazel. And actually with Hazel's sisters as well. It's a private residential condo-type hotel at the south. The place is superb and you would really want to live there, or at least own a unit. That is where the tele-serye "Tayong Dalawa" is currently shooting some of their scenes. So we did our own. Hehe.

Kagagaling lang ni Hazel sa bulutong and her family has been going to places without her kaya pinagamit sa kanya yung Manor, nang may recreational activity naman daw na maganap sa buhay niya. Inggit na inggit na kasi siya. Hehe. Kaya ayun, the same day, nag-aya ang buntis and nakaladkad kami ni Drey. Bakit hindi mag-swimming. Masaya yun. So it was a biglaan lakad.

Sa pacita na kami nagkita ni Drey. Pagdating doon, sinundo muna namin sila sa unit. Doon muna kami nag-camwhoring. Hehe. Siyempre, may pinapalagpas ba. Wala! Catching up muna din with so many stories kasi matagal din nawala uli si Hazel. Sobrang miss namin siya ni Drey, kahit tadtad siya nang chocolate chips sa katawan niya because of chicken pox. Hehe. Hehe.

Her sisters are so much fun to be with. I finally met the youngest one, Malik, who has a different face from the 3 girls. Puro sila babae by the way. At puro sila camwhores din. Hehe. Saya! Around 11:00am, we went to the clubhouse na for swimming. P200.00 ang fee for the guests. Not bad for a good location. I swear, sobrang ganda nang lugar. Maniwala kayo.

Hehe. Tinry namin ang different faces of TL, Drey and Hazel. Masaya pala siya. And look, it turned out to be so cool. Haha. At least for me.

Nang mawala ang ulan, it was time for a swim na. Finally! But at that time, nagdadalawang isip pa ako kung swim na ba o more photo session. Hehe. Can you imagine, nagtalo utak ko about it. Hehe. Pero nanalo ang swim. Nanabik na akong maligo. Kaya langoy to the max na kaming lahat. Woohoo!!! Kami lang ang tao that time.

Around 3:00pm, we went back to the room na at gutom na ang buntis. It was time for our lunch na. Hehe. We had a nice picnic type of lunch. Pagkatapos, si Drey ang naghugas. Hehe. Ako, humiga na sa sofa. Umiwas sa gawaing bahay. Hehe. Di kasi ako marunong. Haha. Hehe,

It was nice seeing Hazel again. I so miss her. And it was a nice saturday to spend with good friends. And not to forget, it was nice spending time with Hazel's sisters too. They are such a bunch of fun girls. Especially the part na camwhores din sila. That's what I like. Haha. Sarap bumalik!!!
