Yesterday was the longest, most painful, and one of the happiest days at work. Why? Lemme tell you the story...
Longest. I woke up at 10:30am Thursday morning to prepare for a volleyball practice. It's a sportsfest from different contact centers and yes, TL is part of it. I planned to join a sport activity to give another flavor of exercise to my body. Going to the gym is such a routine that's why I'm giving a shot for this volleyball thing. If you don't know, I'm a varsity player for volleyball when I was studying, and a little bit younger (I sound like an old guy). Hehe.
From practice, I went to the gym for a little weights, then straight to my 11 hour shift and got home at 6:30am. That's the only time my body rested. For 20 freakin' hours, I was alive, doing stuff and killing myself to death. Hehe. I thought I cannot last at work but I was surprised that I made it. Meron pa kaming team meeting at Annual Physical Exam (APE). Such a loooong day!!!
Painful. Not only was the blood taking during the APE was painful (just for me), but the volleyball practice was such a killing activity as well. Para akong baldado today. Hirap na hirap bumangon sa kama. Feeling ko, any moment, maghihiwa-hiwalay na ang mga body parts ko. Huhuhu. So sakit (yes, conyo). Wala kasi kaming warm up na ginawa bago nagpractice. Diretso laro na. Hay!
Pero in fairness, after having no sports activity for the looongest time, nag-enjoy ako kahapon. Masaya naman yung mga kalaro kahit di ko kakilala yung iba, kahit iisa lang ang company namin. Hehe. Here are the men and women of our company's volleyball team last saturday during the opening ceremony. In fairness, magagaling sila. Ay wait, kami pala. Kailangan kasama ako. Hehe.
Happiest. Oh well, our last gallup result for the month of march and for the 1st Quarter came in and I'm so happy that my team ended with a bang. We ended at 6.57 for Gallup performance for the 1st Quarter and I'm just super duper happy. I was so nervous before the report came in at 5:00am. But I'm glad that Q1 is now finish. Time to work for the Q2 result.
I need more sleep and Mefenamic Acid (hehe). Our first game is tomorrow and my body is now suffering from this tremendous pain. I really need to get all the strength in the world so I can play well tomorrow. Oh well, good luck to me!!! And no more 20 hours of being awake next time. Not a good idea...
