Team Protege: A year it was

Leading people has always been my passion. It's a delight in my heart to see people grow and get developed in the guidance of TL. I've been working with G/W for more than a year, and I had tons of leadership experience that I can never forget. My horizon is just keeps on expanding. Seeing my influence to a lot of people is such a great thing to feel good about yourself.

Last year, I was still interviewing people who were willing to join the company. After a year, I am now leading people and some leaders, handling projects, and part of such fun groups who has so many skills and talents to share. This is what makes TL hyped up. Interacting with people, helping them not only at work but with their personal lives. It's what I enjoy. Sharing your greatest influence in life and making a mark in everyone's life.

A year it was, my team has grown and transitioned to a better phase. Some got promoted, some have left, some got transferred, so many things have changed. But one thing remains the same, that no matter how people deny or accept the fact, Team Protege is a one strong, unified team. A family. And nothing beats that!!!

This is our Team Logo, courtesy of Yron. The 27 Stripes symbolizes the first 27 members of Team Protege. The Moon symbolizes Guidance from the team's leader (that's me). The Sword symbolizes the strength of the team. Combining the Moon and the sword makes it a letter "P", which is the initial letter of Protege. The 2 Stars symbolizes the 2 companies we are working for. The Shield symbolizes team work.

Here are the loving people of Team Protege (who are also camwhores, mana sa leader) in different occasions. Let's start with the original cast who are still members of the team. They are the ones who started the Team Protege way back January 2008:

Raine Casiple during our Easter Egg Hunt Special.

Eric Castillo during our Monthly Performance Awarding.

Drey Lallo during the first night of W-Idol.

Kate Nonato during our Disco Night Fever Special.

Sherrie Pal-ing during our Red-carpet farewell party for Coach Jeremy Rigali.

Hazel Pobrero during the Decade Day last NCSW '08.

Roxee Rabang during their Mass Retail Uptraining.

Yron Retuta during our Bohemian Nights Special.

Lissa Santos during our Summer Fun Special.

Stephen Santos during our DBC Graduation Celebration.

Angel Yap during our Christmas Dinner Celebration.

Then come February of 2008, these folks joined the team and became part of our super wacky world in G/W.

Rob Bastero during our first day in Mass Retail Production.

John Jimenez during our "Iputok Mo" Prize Bonanza Special.

Ka-ye Rubio during our Halloween Special.

Then August of 2008, another addition came in, adding a cast to the best team G/W ever had (just a claim) hehe.

Marien Clemente during our company's Christmas Party.

And to complete the cast for the year 2008, three new awesome people joined the roster of the famous Team Protege.

Ash Garcia during our Team Christmas Party Special.

Valerie Roxas during our 3rd off-site Team Building Activity.

Carol Sarita during her CLG Inauguration as a Gallup Champion.

As of today, before I end my year, I have 18 proteges making my life so much fun at work. And of course, that includes these two who got promoted but still a member of Team Protege.

Training Intern Raech Quintos during our 2nd off-site Team Building Activity.

TSL Eds "Kumander" Altarez during one of our teammates' Wedding Ceremony.

Not to forget some proteges who got promoted this year, and now leading different teams but will always remain a protege.

Mart Marfori during the LXL off-site Team Building Activity.

Ness Talag during our Butterfly Cookies Special.

I'd like to mention also those who got transferred to another team but became part of the history of Team Protege.

Maris Belarde during our transfer to the 4th floor.

Lawrence Chang and Lotchi Diaz during those inuman after shift days.

Bess Navarra during her QEW Graduation Ceremony.

And of course, we will not forget those proteges who have resigned already and now on different paths and endeavors.

Ched Andor during our first day of DBC Production.

Mel Ibarra during our 1st off-site Team Building Activity.

Lance Laborte during our farewell party for Coach James McAdoo.

Karez Lim during our DBC Training.

Joan Obias during our Tie Day Special.

Zac Sacdalan during our "Beep-beep" Special.

K.G. Sanchez during our stay at the 2nd floor.

These are the wonderful people who made my life at work so memorable. These are the people who keeps me motivated. They are the ones who pushes me to be more than who I am. Everyday, seeing them inspires me a lot. Especially the laughter we all share in any occasion. These are the people that through thick or thin, we will remain supporting one another.

A year is soon to pass. Things have changed. A lot of things happened which made the bonding more strong. A bunch of crazy people who loves to have fun at work but delivers great results. We are competitive. Aggresive when a certain target needs to be hit.

Some have got married. Some are about to give birth. Some were hurt. Some have won. Different chapters of different lives. A diverse team where everyone is accepted and loved.

For the next year to come for Team Protege, God bless us all!!!
