Couching Tiger

Last two weeks ago, mamiko and I went to SM Muntinlupa para mag-canvass nang sala set na ilalagay namin sa bagong sala namin. I was looking specifically for a brown couch set kasi yun ang concept namin sa sala. Fusion of Dark and Light Brown, Orange, Maroon, White and Yellow.

Finally. Wala nang patumpik-tumpik, kinuha na agad namin baka kasi may kumuha pa. It was a nice, simple but elegant brown sala set, perfect for the sala. We immediately asked for assistance para mapa-reserve na namin. We intent to have it not delivered pa kasi ginagawa pa yung house.

Then someone came to assist us. Out of all the guys I see in SM Hypermarket, they are all the typical average pinoy looking. Nothing outstanding. But to my surprise, the guy who came and assisted us was so coot (so meron palang coot sa kanila, hehe). White complexion, nice lips, pretty face. Average height at may konting tiyan (in fairness, tiningnan ko talaga yun kahit may suot siyang apron). Hehe.

Of course, the usual discreet staring of TL. Hehe. Until mamiko decided to stroll around to get some items to buy na din. So kuya and me were left together. Heee. Kinilig ako. Leche!!! Hehe. He assisted me to Customer Service deck and did not leave (sweet). Magkatabi lang kami. Isang dipa lang ang agwat. Hindi kami kumikibo. Walang usap na out of business na nangyari. I didn't attempt. He's so straight-looking.

Then nabayaran na, nagka-drawingan na nang sketch of address for delivery purposes and final instructions were given. I was asked to write down the complete address and phone number. "Landline, right?", I asked to confirm. Haha. Wild imagination lang naman.

Then mamiko came back and we left na. There goes mr. coot kuya. Bye.

But wait. There's more. Hehe. The following day, I got a text from an anonymous number saying, "Sir, confirm ko lang po kung kelan ang delivery nang sofa niyo-Dan". Nagulat ako. Why? Kasi I specifically instructed him and wrote it on the delivery form na I want it to be delivered in the next 2 weeks, then this text confirming when came. Hmm.

May follow up text. Hmpf! Sumagot na lang ako nang "Hi Dan. Thanks for your assistance yesterday. Appreciate it". After a few seconds, "Ang suplado niyo naman sir", then may smiley after the message. Ano na! Was he trying to have a text conversation??? Hehe.

I was hesitant. I am not sure kasi if he's a PLU or straight guy trying to flirt around. And that day, bagsak na bagsak ang system ko kaya wala ako sa mood. Was he flirting or just being friendly? Hay! I don't know. I'm too bad with those things. Sayang si kuya coot. Hmm. Let go!!! Hehe.
