One Long Day

After posting an entry about my one long weekend, yesterday was just one long day for me. Let me share to you my December 05, 2008 day...

LAST DAY OF WORK FOR THE WEEK
I'm still attending my 3-week training that starts at 6:00am. I'm now learning a lot of stuff about the Bank I work with and the class is now starting to warm up. Napapalapit na ang loob ko sa class as they are a bunch of happy crazy people like TL (Of course team, kayo pa din love ko). Hehe. And of course, lalo kong nagiging crush si eyecandy. Ewan ko ba. There's something in him (the mystery effect) that I like. But again, crush lang talaga (ayan nathan, crush lang ha).

I also gave my post-paid smartbro portable device to Basti as I continued my unlimited plan with smart. Siya na daw magtutuloy nung plan. I thought of having two lines won't be so practical. And besides, with my addiction to internet, unlimited service is the best one to suite my needs. And Basti was so excited to go home and enjoy his weekend with his new smartbro.

Enjoy Basti!!!

KATE'S WEDDING DAY
Exactly at 3pm, I left the office to pick up Eds and mommy Lissa sa Seattle's Best. Kami lang ang pupunta sa wedding ni Kate. We arrived at the church exactly on time, seeing Kate walking on the isle already. In fairness, nagkanda-ligaw-ligaw pa kami at nagkagulo sa directions on where to find the church. Hassle pala ang halang road, it goes by the name.

My dear friend Kate Nonato.
Before, a single lady. Now, a wife and a future mommy.

It was a grand moment for Kate. She was stunning yesterday. So beautiful. I am very happy for her, and I know that she's very happy that finally, a dream of having a church wedding finally came true. Di na ako naka-abot sa reception. I had to leave for another appointment. I was freakin' hungry kaya lumabas na lang kaming tatlo at bumili nang food sa malapit na tindahan habang tinatapos yung ceremony. Guess what, naka tatlong order ako nang toknene (the quail egg). Yum-yum!!! Sarap nang sauce ni ate chubby na ayaw magpapicture sa akin. Hassle!

Congrats Kate and Mark!!!

HAIRSPRAY MUSICAL PLAY
I met Kuh and Danie sa office para magconvoy kami papuntang CCP. I don't know they way that's why I needed a guide. Hinarurot ko na ang SLEX at baka iwan nila ako. But when I got there, wala pa si Danie. Late na siya dumating. Yey! But Kuh was worried because we invited 3 stateside coaches to join us in watching this play. Nakakahiya naman kung mauuna pa sila doon because we told them doon na lang magkita-kita (siyempre in english). When Danie arrived, she parked her car immediately at sumakay na kay Kuh. Jhen was suppose to join us. Inis ako sa kanya. Di na siya sumama. Hmpf!

My phone battery was about to die and that's the only way I have to contact nathan. Doon na kasi siya ime-meet sa CCP. When we got there, he was still on his way and was stucked at bacoor, cavite. Hay! Bibinggo na talaga sa akin. Late na naman. What's new. Since the 3 stateside coaches got there first (as predicted), we had no choice but to get inside na because the show was starting already.

Stage of the Hairspray Musical

It was my first time to watch a play in Star Theatre. It was a nice venue. Right beside Star City. And for some reasons, the male ushers were so damn tall and cute (why is that???. hmpf!). When I finally got settled on my seat, nathan texted that he just arrived. I went out to pick him up and give his ticket. Again, inis ako sa kanya dahil late siya but when I saw him, and he gave his "puss" innocent look and cute smile, nawala na naman yung inis ko. Nakalampas na naman. Damn! He just know how to deal it with me. Grrr!!

Ayan si Nathan after the show. Nag-enjoy nang sobra at tawa nang
tawa kahit di niya nasimulan ang play at di pa napanood ang movie.

The play was spectacular. The cast was good. Michael De Mesa played the part of Edna, the mother of Tracy, which was played by John Travolta in the movie (which I have watched also). Nyoy Volante played the part of the black lead guy. And boy! He knows how to dance. And credits to him, he was so damn good. Crush na nga siya ni Kuh eh. Hehe. Si "okay ka ba tiyan" was part of the cast playing different roles. The guy who played the part of Zac Efron in the movie is cute, medyo ngongo lang magsalita. And lastly, they were so good in finding someone to play the role of Tracy. She really looked like the one in the movie. She sings and dance very well. Oh my, in short, we enjoyed the play so much.

Thanks Kuh for the tickets!!!

DINNER AT BLUE WAVE
It was time to eat. After the play, the stateside coaches left and the four of us were so hungry. We went to Blue wave to find a place to eat. There's a lot of people (the yuppies group) there coz' it's friday night. Danie and Kuh decided to have dinner at Gerry's Grill. We were so damn hungry we ordered immediately and ate without a glimpse when the food were served. Hehe.

It was nice having nathan met some of my friends. Officially, Kuh and Danie were the first few friends he met nung naging official na kami. Although na-meet na niya si Jhen pero that was the time na di pa kami. I was impressed with nathan as he handled it with cool. As always, he was the sweet bf that night who never cared about the public.

After, we just ordered some coffee at Starbucks to keep me awake as it was 12 in the midnight already, making me awake for 21 hours straight at magda-drive pa ako pauwi. Sa coastal road na kami dumaan at doon sasakay si nathan pauwi. Actually, nagkanda-kamali-mali pa kami ni nathan nang daan. Para pa kaming nagroad-trip. Hassle. I got home around 2am. Battery empty na ako. Chinarge ko lang to check nathan if he got home safe na, then natulog na ako.

Spell LONG DAY!!!!

Hay. But it was fun. Sobra. The best part of that long day was being with nathan. And boy, he looks good last night. Nice!!!
