That's me and Hazel on the Wall of Thanks last year, on the celebration of National Customer Service Week where the two of us are part of the Organizing team. Hindi pa siya buntis niyan kaya masyadong pang aktibo siya nun. And if meron pa rin Wall of Thanks ngayon sa office, marami akong isusulat at ipo-post na "Thank You" letter kay God for giving hazel a normal baby.
Okay, don't get confused. Hindi pa siya nanganganak, okay. Hehe. Yesterday, it was her schedule of the ultra sound for her baby. Her first time to see what her baby looks like. Mixed emtions siya the night before. Excited siya na kinakabahan at nagwo-worry na baka mamaya, may defect yung bata. Sabi ko sa kanya, relax lang siya because everything's gonna be alright.
Habang nagbabantay ako kay mamiko kahapon at nahirapan huminga, at kaya di ako nakapasok, I got a text from her about the result of her ultra sound. Here's the text she sent:
"It's a baby boy TL...
Nakita ko ang mga parte nang katawan niya...
Pati ang pututoy niya, hehe...
Thank God, walang defect...
Hindi ko ma-explain ang feeling...
I'm so happy...

Literally, I was in tears of joy. Walang halong exaggeration. Hazel is a good friend. That's why I am so happy for her. Actually, sobrang ingat ako sa dalawa kong buntis. Si Ka-ye at si Hazel. Feeling ko ako yung asawa nila pag nasa work sila. Konting may maramdaman lang sila, nagpa-panic ako. Sobrang excited ako sa kanilang mga baby. I can't wait!!!
