A Pinky Post-Valentine Celebration

It was a "Pink Day" today at work for our post-valentine celebration. The R&R Council decided to have a celebration of Valentine's Day sa team. Since saturday was our off, they wanted to have our own team celebration of one of the most celebrated day in the world. We all wore pink shirts and they gave roses, chocolates and created some activities for the team.


Nakakatuwa kasi nagsusu-mabog ang pink kanina. Actually, nung lunch namin, pumunta kami nang Fastbytes para doon kumain. Siyempre, sabay sabay kaming naglalakad, at lahat kami naka-pink. Coot coot di ba! Astig! Kahit sa elevator, picture-picture pa rin...


Ang kulet di ba! May stripes na pink, may baby pink, may light pink, may hot pink, at may buntis na pink (tugoink! joke yun ha). Hehe. After lunch, all flowers were distributed even the chocolates and the Krispy Kreme doughnuts na binili ko nung friday when I watched Boyce Avenue concert sa Mall of Asia.

Around 4:15am, we had our "Love Quotes" activity sa training room uli, na kanina ko lang din lang naformulate yung activity (I usually create activities for my team). I divided the team in to 2 groups, which will compete with each other. They have to form the Love Quotes that were subdivided in to 7 parts written in papers. Basta masyadong mahaba ang instructions. See the pictures na lang. Hehe.

Team A: Rob, Carol, Eds, Marien, Yron, Drey and Hazel

Team B: Eric, Val, Bess, Roxee, Stephen, Ash and Angel

There were 7 rounds. 1st round was worth 10 pts. 2nd round 20 pts. 3rd round 30 pts. 4th round 40 pts. 5th round 50 pts. 6th round 60 pts. And the last round was worth 100 pts. It was a neck-to-neck competition but the team who won was Team B played by Bess for the final round against Kumander.


Sobrang tuwang-tuwa sila sa pagkakapanalo nila. Nagtatatalon, nagsusumigaw at nagpapalakpakan sila na parang nanalo sila sa Lotto. I swear, ganun ang reaksyon nila. Sayang nga at di ko na-video. Kaaliw sila. Everyone was so in to the activity. Another I swear! Hehe. Si Ka-ye ang audience namin. Hindi ko pinasali at 8th month na niya on her pregnancy. Medyo masakit kanina ang tiyan na. Actually, tinutulak lang siya through a chair. Coot!


At ang naghawi pa nang pinto, ang isang buntis, si Hazel. Kaaliw talaga 'tong team ko. Hay!!! Hehe. Around 5:40am, nakatanggap ako nang Warning Message: "Babala.. Babala.. May magaganap na pagsabog..". Ay! Napraning ang TL. Dali daling nag-ayos nang gamit, kinuha ang gamit, ang susi at bumaba sa basement. Nauna na ako sa kanila. Hindi na ako nakapag-paalam. I rushed home immediately. Natakot sa babalang aking natanggap.

6:10am ako nakadating sa bahay. Di na mapakali. Dali-daling kinuha ang gamit sa sasakyan, pumasok, nilagay ang bag sa kuwarto. The next thing I know, naka-upo na ako sa trono nang kagitingan at naganap na nga ang pagsabog. Nagkatotoo ang babalang aking natanggap. Very reliable talaga ang aking message center.
