Pink Film Marathon

It was a great discovery. AngTV.net is a site which will give you links of movies that you can watch. Just a few films to choose from. But what I am happy about is that it has a section of Pink Films. Thus, this has given me a chance to see 6 films that I haven't seen yet. 3 american pink films and 3 asian pink films. These are the movies I have watched while being stucked here in the house for 2 days.

The famous Bangkok Love Story (2007). The short hair guy is the cute one. Medyo weird ang story pero okay na din. Napaka-tragic nga lang. Walang happy ending. Sobrang martyr na love which if we translate is the unconditonal love. But there were some awesome shots taken in this film. Hay! Cute din yung kapatid nung long hair guy. Ang lalim nang acting pa. Recommended film.

Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds (2006) is a sequel of the first they've released. The first became a hit because of some provocative scenes and hot guys as well, which they just continued on the second one. They took a hotter guy this time, more daring and revealing. It's like an American Pie version for PLUs. A very funny movie to watch. Recommended film.

Regarding Billy (2005) is the most boring of all films I watched. Sayang, cute and hot pa naman yung two leading actors. Ang boring nang story, nang plotting, even the scenes are monotonous. Di na ako nagtataka why I never heard about this film. Na-curious lang ako that's why I checked it out. Sayang. Not a recommended film.

A very cute Formula 17 (2204) film. I'm a fan of asian pink films. Wala lang, parang culturally, mas nakaka-relate ako. The movie was so cute. Although yung first part of the film eh medyo boring, buti na lang I gave it a chance at pinilit umabot sa gitna. It ended to be cute and kilig movie. The two leading actors are also cute. Even yung bestfriend nung long hair guy, cute din. Hehe. Recommended film.

No Night is too Long
(2002) is an old film and could not pass the taste of any PLU these days. It lacks a lot of things. Naguluhan ako actually. It started cute and exciting and kilig, especially when they first kissed na parang out of nowhere, hanggang sa naging complicated na. Cute pa naman sana yung lead actor. Kaso napatay niya in the end because of jealousy. Ayoko nang mga ganun. Hehe. Not a recommended film.

Another hit asian pink film who took every PLU by storm, The Love of Siam (2008). I so love this movie. Ang cute, very relevant yung story pero maiinis ka sa ending. However, you will still love the film. It was created so beautifully. Feeling ko the whole time I was watching it, kinukurot ang puso't damdamin ko. Sobrang simple pero sobrang ganda. My new angels: Mew and Tong.

But tong is the cutest na hihilingin mong sana lumaki na siya nang mabilis at maging kasing-edad mo. Hehe. Ang babata pa nila. Crush ko din yung si June, she's so pretty. Ang galing na artista. Pati yung mom ni Tong. Ang galing din. Hay! Feeling ko na-attach ako masyado sa film. Naluha ako after it. Highly recommended film.

The best scene for me was when Tong and Mew were having a bed conversation. Tong asked Mew why is he lonely, and this was his response:

"If we can love someone so much, how will we be able to handle it if one day we are separated? And if being separated is a part of life, and you know about separation well. Is it possible that we can love someone and never be afraid of losing them?

At the same time, I am also wondering is it possible that we can live our entire life without loving anyone at all? That's my loneliness. I have lived with it now for 5 years. I know just how bad loneliness feels. I fear it will continue to get worse.."

Then Tong embraced Mew and hiniga ang ulo sa balikat. Sabay silang natulog at di na umuwi si Tong sa kanila. The next day, Tong had to leave and he left a note in his bed saying:

"You were sound asleep in my arms, I tried not to wake you.."

Ang sweet and ang cute!!! Mew cherished the night they were together again in his room after a long time of not seeing each other. He then immediately sent a text message to Tong:

"Thanks for staying. I hope you get home safely.."

Isn't it cute. Very realistic. It really happens in life that's why a lot of people liked the movie. A lot can relate to it. To the actors and the makers of this movie, I salute you for this very beautiful masterpiece. An awesome film!!!
